Tax free Barbados shoppingWhat’s not to love about those four little words? One of the things Barbados is renowned for is its tax free shopping and people from all over the world grab deals here on their Barbados vacation.
Tax free shopping allows you to save a bundle on the items you may need.
Well, with Barbados tax free shopping you can pretty much find anything you would find in the U.S or U.K.
As a shopaholic (recovering), I've learned to find great deals when I travel. No reason why you shouldn't as well.
So if you are here for a visit and want to pick up souvenirs for friends back home or just mementos of your voyages then why not take a trip to some of our Barbados shopping centers located on either the west or south cost and shop away to your heart’s content.

Here is Scotiabank at the "top" of Broad Street. Broad street is about a 1/2 mile stretch of stores with almost everything you would need on your trip to Barbados.

Cave Shepherd Barbados
This is a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. For duty free shopping you're going to need your passport, airline or cruise ticket. This proves that you're a visitor the island and qualifies you for duty free purchases.
Note that the price tag on products contain both the local price and the duty free price. The duty-free price will be the lower of the two.

In general this allows you to shop for any imported goods and local Rum tax free. Note that for alcohol and tobacco, you will not be allowed to take them with you at purchase.
